Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry (DOL) Digital Literacy and Workforce Development Grant – Round 4 – Round 4, to include awards of up to $45,000 per project. This grant opportunity will be focused on supporting existing Round 2 Digital Literacy projects (Period of Performance from May 1, 2022 to July 31, 2023). Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) 2023-24 PACTT Competitive Funding – This is a competitive solicitation that is limited to privately operated residential facilities, community-based providers, and juvenile probation offices seeking to improve services for delinquent youth receiving academic and career/technical training services. Funds are being made available to providers that work with youth and are under the supervision of a juvenile probation office to support their efforts to become a PACTT Affiliate and maintain that affiliation. Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry (DOL) Supporting Broadband Infrastructure through Apprenticeships Grant – The PAsmart Supporting Broadband Infrastructure initiative provides $800,000 in grant funding to expand and support existing Registered Apprenticeship and/or Pre-Apprenticeship Programs in broadband-related occupations with a specific focus on diverse talent pipelines and underserved populations. Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) EA-PAV-Youth W/Problematic Sexual Behaviors – Funds to support residents of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania who have been child victims of sexual abuse. This funding announcement is specifically for Category 1 and focuses on increasing awareness, education of MDITs, and improving services provided to youth with problematic sexual behaviors (YPSB) who are child victims of sexual abuse (ages 12 and under). Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) Recovery Housing Program – All eligible Applicants shall be any entity registered with the Pennsylvania Department of State which is able to provide recovery housing for individuals recovering from SUD according to Act 59 of 2017 and any subsequent regulations thereafter. Funds can be used to complete demolition, debris removal, rehabilitation improvements, environmental remediation cost, construction and inspections in order to meet Pennsylvania’s Recovery Housing licensure requirements. Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) COVID-19 ARPA PA Broadband Infrastructure Program – Any business, not-for-profit organization, municipality, or economic development organization with the technical, managerial, and financial expertise to design, build, and operate high-speed broadband service infrastructure within the Commonwealth is eligible to apply. The purpose of the Program is to facilitate the deployment of high-speed broadband service infrastructure in unserved and underserved areas of the Commonwealth. Deadline: July 10, 2023. Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) Multimodal Transportation Fund – Municipalities, Councils of Government, Businesses, Economic Development Organizations, Public Transportation Agencies and Ports-Rails/Freight. Funds may be used for the development, rehabilitation and enhancement of transportation assets to existing communities, streetscape, lighting, sidewalk enhancement, pedestrian safety, connectivity of transportation assets and transit-oriented development. Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission Boating Infrastructure Grant Program – Grants may be made to public and private operators of open-to-the-public boating facilities: municipal agencies (cities, towns, counties, etc.), state agencies (State Parks, DNR, Fish & Wildlife, etc.), and other government entities. The program’s goal is to provide funds to develop and maintain transient moorage (tie-ups) serving recreational boats 26 feet and larger. Eligible project activities include the construction, renovation and maintenance of transient tie up facilities. Boating infrastructure refers to features that provide stopover places for transient non-trailerable recreational vessels to tie up. These features include transient slips, day docks, floating docks and fixed piers, navigational aids, and dockside utilities including electric, water, and pumpout stations. Deadline: July 31, 2023. Pennsylvania Historical & Museum (PHMC) Historical & Archival Records Care Grants – Funds can be used by Historical societies, libraries (public and private), museums with archives and records management responsibilities, historical records, repositories whose primary mission is the preservation of historical records to make them available to the public, non-profit community organizations responsible for the care of historical records, museums and historic sites that are owned and operated by independent nonprofit organizations, museums and historic sites that are owned by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission are eligible if they are operated by an independent, nonprofit organization, county governments, municipalities, colleges and universities, school districts, other historical organizations with collections consistently available for research, organizations with the mission to help care for collections not necessarily their own, statewide elected official and government associations (e.g. Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS), Pennsylvania Prothonotaries’ and Clerks of Courts’ Association, Pennsylvania School Boards Association, etc.) Funds will improve the preservation of historically valuable original records. DCED Local Share Account (LSA) – Category 4 Facilities Program (Berks, Cumberland, Westmoreland, and York Counties) – The PA Race Horse Development and Gaming Act (Act 2004-71), as amended, provides for the distribution of gaming revenues from Category 4 licensed facilities through the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) to support projects in the public interest within the host counties. Projects in the public interest. Projects that improve the quality of life of citizens in the community. Eligible projects must be owned and maintained by an eligible applicant or a nonprofit organization and be located within a county hosting a Category 4 licensed gaming facility. DCED Local Share Account (LSA) – Monroe County – LSA funds may be used for economic development, community development and public interest projects in Monroe County and the following counties contiguous to: Carbon, Lackawanna, Northampton, Pike and Wayne. See program guidelines for specific eligible uses of funds. Eligible applicants include any municipality in Monroe County, as well as those counties and municipalities contiguous to Monroe County. Economic development and redevelopment authorities in Monroe County and the contiguous counties (Carbon, Lackawanna, Northampton, Pike, and Wayne) are also eligible. Deadline: September 30, 2023. Pennsylvania Council of Arts Creative Sector Flex Fund – The Flex Fund provides support to eligible applicants that provide consistent annual levels of artistic programming and/or arts services in Pennsylvania. One application per applicant per year may be submitted. Eligible uses of grant funds include but are not limited to operating or programming expenditures. Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (DOA) Resource Enhancement & Protection Program (REAP) – REAP is a first-come, first-served program that enables farmers, businesses, and landowners to earn PA income tax credits to offset the cost of implementing conservation practices. Tax credits provided by the REAP program helps farmers off-set the costs of implementing best management practices (BMPs) that benefit their farms and work to protect water quality at the same time. Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) Housing Options Grant Program – Non-profits and developers. Funds can be used to help continue affordable housing production in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Deadline: All grants should be awarded no later than December 31, 2024.
