Pa. Supreme Court: Medical marijuana use by probationers is allowed

In a unanimous 16-page opinion, the state Supreme Court on Thursday found that a Lebanon County court policy prohibiting probationers from using medical marijuana violated the law.

Chief Justice Thomas Saylor wrote that the Lebanon County policy, announced in September, is contrary to the immunity provided by the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Act, which took effect in 2016, and therefore cannot be enforced.
