Pa. lawmakers identifying ways to kickstart Pa.’s economic recovery

Employers from across Pennsylvania say the best way to kickstart the state’s economy is for the government and Gov. Tom Wolf’s COVID-19 mitigation orders to “get out of the way,” according to House Republican leaders.

That was the overriding theme of the responses received from over 900 businesses from 65 of the state’s 67 counties to a survey conducted in February, said House Republican Policy Committee Chairman Martin Causer, R-McKean County, who released a report on the survey findings on Tuesday.
