Nearly seven in 10 Pennsylvanians believe Pennsylvania is headed in the wrong direction and a majority believe the state’s business climate is worse off than it was 10 years ago, according to a poll released on Thursday.
The new statewide poll commissioned by the conservative-leaning Commonwealth Foundation also found 42% the 600 registered voters surveyed last month – 41% Republicans; 45% Democrat; 14% independents – had considered moving to another state or personally knew someone who did or was thinking about it because of the state of the state.
