The road to reconciliation: Dentons’ pros examine the state of health care reform

Dentons federal public policy team hosted this week a special health policy briefing, lifting the curtain on the political and policy machinations that resulted in the House leadership’s spectacular decision last week to pull from consideration a proposal to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.

The same team hosted two previous briefings, one last week and another the week before that, on the mechanics of the reconciliation process and the structural contours of the legislation.

Speculation swirled Tuesday that House Republicans were re-initiating their efforts to repeal and replace, though there remains no broad consensus as to how. Watch this space for continued updates from our federal health policy team.
