In an effort to mirror the federal tax deadline of May 17, Gov. Tom Wolf signed a bill Thursday to move Pennsylvania’s corporate tax deadline to match the mid-May due date observed for federal and state personal income taxes.
On Thursday, Wolf signed HB 766, sponsored by state Rep. Keith Greiner, R-Lancaster, which shifts the commonwealth’s corporate tax deadline. It also allows state agencies such as the Department of Revenue and the Department of Community and Economic Development to work with local governments to extend filing and payment deadlines.
