Dentons and its global Public Policy and Regulation team are hosting daily briefings live from the Republican and Democratic conventions every morning of each event at 9:30 a.m. ET.
As the two dominant US political parties choose their nominees and draw battle lines for the fall campaign, gain behind-the-scenes perspectives on the daily developments in Cleveland and Philadelphia by joining senior members of our Public Policy team Howard Dean, Joe Andrew, Newt Gingrich and Ron Kaufman for moderated discussions.
Howard Dean is the former Governor of Vermont and a former Democratic candidate for president. Joe Andrew is Dentons’ Global Chairman and former Chair of the Democratic National Committee. Newt Gingrich is the former US Speaker of the House and a former candidate for president. Ron Kaufman is Co-Chair of the Rules Committee for the 2016 Republican National Convention and a former White House Political Director for President George H. W. Bush.
Other colleagues and members of the Firm will contribute throughout the two conventions.
Briefings for the Republican convention were held daily Monday, July 18 through Thursday, July 21. The briefings for the Democratic convention are being held daily starting Monday, July 25 through Thursday, July 28.
