Pa. secretary of education set to leave post for new job in Lancaster

Pedro A. Rivera, Pennsylvania’s secretary of education since 2015, will leave the post for another job this fall as schools across the state continue to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Gov. Tom Wolf on Tuesday announced Mr. Rivera’s last day in the administration would be Sept. 30.
