Bill requiring smoke detectors in Pa. child care centers going to the governor

Legislation that requires state-regulated child care facilities to have smoke detectors on every floor as well as a portable fire extinguisher is on its way to Gov. Tom Wolf for enactment.

The governor intends to sign it into law, according to his spokeswoman Lyndsay Kensinger.
